Bio: A prolific writer in and outside of music, Annie Bacon has been releasing music since the early 2010s. She takes a literary approach to writing her lyrics, crafting the story-driven, solo album, “The Folk Opera” in 2010. However, most of her music is released under her band, Annie Bacon & her OSHEN, often exploring complex themes of heartbreak, society, and grief in their music. She is currently crowdfunding their next album, “Singing the Storm.” Bacon is also working on an original musical with collaborator Kyle Rasche titled “The Keeper,” will intends to be a love letter to Michigan folk music.
