More From Copeland’s Archives

Stewart Copeland has found more material about The Police in his archives.

He’s working on a book called Stewart Copeland’s Police Diaries (aka the Starving Years) that uses copies of his diaries from 1976 to 1979, plus handmade poster designs and previously unpublished photos to cover how the band came together. It’s due out this year.

And to spur pre-orders for the book, he’s released an old demo for a song of his, “Clown’s Revenge,” that The Police played at their first gigs but never recorded. Check it out here.
