A New Album & Tour For Elvis Costello

Elvis Costello and the Imposters have a new live album and new tour on deck.

The live album, The Boy Named If (Alive at Memphis Magnetic), comes out digitally on Friday. It features live-in-the studio renditions of The Boy Named If songs, a version of Costello’s “Every Day I Write the Book” and covers of songs by The Rolling Stones, Nick Lowe, The Byrds and Paul McCartney. It was recorded live-in-the-studio during tour rehearsals at Memphis Magnetic Recording in October 2021 and May 2022.

The new tour has Costello and the Imposters on the road from February 23rd in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania through March 10th in Charlottesville, Virginia. The trek comes after Costello does his 100 Songs and More run at the Gramercy Theatre in New York City February 9th through the 22nd.
