A Big Night For The War And Treaty

Last night was a big one for The War and Treaty, who began it by surprise releasing an EP entitled Blank Page and ended it by covering The Rolling Stones’ “It’s Only Rock n’ Roll (But I Like It)” with Brothers Osborne on Wednesday’s CMA Awards

The EP features their new single “Lovers Game” and three other songs, all produced by Dave Cobb, and will serve as a lead-in to their upcoming third album.

Last night’s CMAs performance saw them perform their collaborative first single from the upcoming Nashville Stones tribute album Stoned Cold Country. That compilation and The War and Treaty’s new full-length will be released in the new year.

The duo close out their Hearts on Fire tour this weekend with shows in Cambridge, Massachusetts on Friday and Washington, D.C. on Saturday.
