Bono will hit the road for a book tour in support of his memoir, Surrender, but don’t look for him at your neighborhood Barnes & Noble.

Stories of Surrender is seven theater shows in North America and another seven in the U.K. and Europe.

He says, “I miss being on stage and the closeness of U2’s audience. In these shows I’ve got some stories to sing, and some songs to tell… Plus I want to have some fun presenting my ME-moir, Surrender, which is really more of a WE-moir if I think of all the people who helped me get from there to here.”

The U.S. leg starts on November 2nd at New York’s Beacon Theatre followed by Boston, Toronto, Chicago, Nashville, San Francisco and Los Angeles. Tickets go on sale this Friday at 10 a.m. local time at Ticketmaster.com/Bono. There will be a two-ticket limit per person.

Each ticket purchased comes with a copy of the book, Surrender, which will be published on November 1st.
