Rivers Cuomo says that Weezer’s run on Broadway celebrating their SZNZ EPs has been canceled, but tickets are still on sale for all the shows.

Cuomo made the announcement Wednesday afternoon on a post on his Discord that was shared on Reddit. He wrote, “I just learned that our Broadway shows have been cancelled (due to low ticket sales and unbelievably high expenses.) I’m very sorry to be telling you this now after we’ve already invested so much time, thought, and emotion. Extra apologies to those of you who cleared schedules and made travel plans to be with us….I loved where we were going and I hope we can find a way to resurrect our vision.”

However, as of Thursday morning all five shows, which runs from September 13th through the 18th, are still on sale through Telecharge, with plenty of tickets available for each date.
