John Mayer has announced three benefit concerts to help Montana flood relief efforts.

Rise for the River will be held at the Pine Creek Lodge in Livingston, Montana. Mayer will be joined by his Dead & Company bandmate Bob Weir on August 8th. On August 14th Dave Chappelle will do a comedy set and Mayer will perform. And on August 21st Mayer will perform a solo show.

Tickets sold out almost instantly on Tuesday morning for all three concerts, and proceeds will go to SW MT Flood Relief Fund. Mayer, a longtime Montana resident, is also auctioning off VIP packages to each show that come with an autographed poster and early admission to get prime seats. The auctions are under way at Charity Auctions Today.
