Broken Bells have announced their first album in eight years.

It’s called Into the Blue but the duo of Danger Mouse (aka Brian Burton) and James Mercer (of The Shins) haven’t announced a release date yet. The first single and video is called “We’re Not in Orbit Yet.”

The duo have released three singles in the past eight years and it’s not clear of those tracks will appear on Into the Blue. Both members of the duo also have other projects on the books this summer — Mercer will be on the road with The Shins celebrating the 21st anniversary of Oh Inverted World and Danger Mouse has an album due with Black Thought of The Roots.
