Brandi Carlile, Allison Russell and Yola are the leading nominees for the 21st Americana Honors and Awards.

All three singers are nominated the same categories: Album of the Year, Artist of the Year and Song of the Year. The other Artist of the Year nominees are Jason Isbell and bluegrass artist Billy Strings.

Robert Plant & Alison Krauss are up for Album of the Year for Raise the Roof and Duo/Group of the Year, while Sturgill Simpson is up for Song of the Year for “Juanita.” Other Duo/Group of the Year nominees include Big Thief, Los Lobos, The Mavericks and The War and Treaty.

The Americana Honors and Awards are set for September 14th at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium.
