Curt Smith of Tears for Fears is the latest artist to do a list of Five Albums I Can’t Live Without for Spin.
He chose Alice Cooper’s Welcome to My Nightmare, Peter Gabriel’s third album (the one dubbed “Melt” by fans for its cover), The Blue Nile’s A Walk Across the Rooftops, Prefab Sprout’s Swoon and The 1975’s A Brief Inquiry into Online Relationships.
Smith kind of cheated by including an honorable mention — Wish You Were Here by Pink Floyd. He says that it’s “one record I think every young musician should listen to.”
