The David Bowie estate is opening pop-up exhibits in New York City and London on October 25th.
The exhibits start 75 days before what would have been Bowie’s 75th birthday and are the kickoff of Bowie 75, a year-long celebration of the late icon, who died in 2016. Both pop-up exhibits will run through late January.
The New York City location is at 150 Wooster Street and is steps away from Bowie’s longtime neighborhood and the London location is 14 Heddon Street, where the cover of The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars was shot.
Each exhibit will feature immersive audio and HD video screening rooms and hours of video content including previously unseen behind-the-scenes material and rare footage from the Heathen and Reality eras.
