R.E.M.’s Michael Stipe, Matt Berninger of The National and Iggy Pop are among the artists on a new tribute to the debut album from The Velvet Underground.

I’ll Be Your Mirror: A Tribute to the Velvet Underground & Nico is out September 24th and it features covers of the 11 tracks on the original 1967 album. Stipe does “Sunday Morning,” Berninger does “I’m Waiting for the Man” and Iggy tackles “European Son.”

Other acts on the album include St. Vincent, Courtney Barnett, Sharon Van Etten and Kurt Vile and the Violators, whose take on “Run Run Run” is on YouTube now.
