INXS Behind the Movie

INXS music provides the entire soundtrack for a new short film called Original Sin: The Seven Sins, a re-imagining of Dante’s Inferno that will stream on Veeps starting Friday, for 48 hours only.

Its 13-cut soundtrack album will also be released on Friday. It features reworkings and reinterpretations of some of the band’s most iconic tracks by a number of artists, including INXS and its members. Among its highlights is a cover by the band’s late singer Michael Hutchens of Eric Burdon & War’s collaborative classic from 1970, “Spill The Wine.”

Executive music producer Giles Martin collaborated with director Amy Tinkham on the original concept for the film, which was the final project of its executive producer, longtime INXS manager Chris “CM” Murphy, who died of lymphoma in January.
