Manchester Orchestra will release their first album in four years on April 30th.

It’s called The Million Masks of God and the first single and video, “Bed Head,” is on YouTube now.

Frontman Andy Hull says the songs on the album were partly influenced by the death of guitarist Robert McDowell’s father from cancer in 2019. “It started off really abstract, but as Robert’s dad’s fight with cancer got harder and harder those last couple years, I started making parallels in my mind to what I was actually writing about. It became an examination of my own faith.”
