Director Peter Jackson has shared a look at his upcoming documentary The Beatles: Get Back.

The film was set to be released this past fall but was delayed due to the pandemic. In the five-minute video Jackson says that now that New Zealand has “largely stamped out the virus” he’s returned to editing the film, which is taken from 56 hours of unreleased footage shot during the Let it Be sessions.

Jackson adds that he’s about halfway done with the film and that the clip is not a trailer or a sequence from the project. He says it’s a “montage of moments from the 56 hours of film.”

The Beatles: Get Back is due in theaters August 27th.
