A new Joe Biden campaign spot marks the first time Beastie Boys have ever given permission for the use of their music in an advertisement.

The clip features Joe Malcoun, owner of Ann Arbor’s The Blind Pig, talking about how President Trump’s response to the coronavirus pandemic is responsible for his club having to shut down. The Beasties “Sabotage” plays behind him, as does Pixies’ “Where Is My Mind,” The Stooges’ “Down on the Street” and a song by The Breeders.
