Elvis Costello’s “Armed Forces” is Being Reissued as a Nine-Record Box Set

Elvis Costello‘s 1979 album Armed Forces is the subject of a new box set due out November 6th.

The Complete Armed Forces is a nine-record set that features a remastered version of the album, four live records with 23 unreleased tracks, a collection of B-sides and demos called Sketches for Emotional Fascism, and seven-inch singles of “Oliver’s Army,” “Accidents Will Happen” and Costello’s producer Nick Lowe and his original version of “(What’s So Funny ‘Bout) Peace, Love and Understanding.”

The vinyl set is available only through uDiscoverMusic.com. It will also be available digitally for streaming and download. (This is also the third time Armed Forces has been reissued — versions with extra tracks and live recordings came out in 1993 and 2002.)
