U2 will mark the 20th anniversary of All That You Can’t Leave Behind with series of reissues on October 30th, which is the actual anniversary date.
The original album has been remastered with a bonus track of “The Ground Beneath Her Feet.” That song was originally on The Million Dollar Hotel soundtrack and included on international versions of the album. This will be available as one CD, a two record set and digitally.
The two CD edition adds 13 live songs from the band’s Elevation Tour stop in Boston in June 2001.
The Super Deluxe Box Set, which is five CDs or 11 records, has 39 extra tracks, including the full show from Boston in 2001, remastered B-sides, out-takes from the album sessions, remixes plus an acoustic version of “Stuck In A Moment You Can’t Get Out Of.” There’s a video for that acoustic take on YouTube now.
All That You Can’t Leave Behind was U2’s tenth studio album and it hit number-one in 32 countries — except in the U.S., where it peaked at number-three. All That You Can’t Leave Behind won seven Grammys and is the only album in history to have multiple tracks win the award for Record Of The Year (“Beautiful Day” in 2001 and “Walk On” in 2002).
