The Black Keys Are Set to Stream Their Headlining Set at the Governors Ball

The Black Keys 2015 headline set from the Governors Ball in New York City will be streamed on the festival’s YouTube account Thursday at 9:30 p.m. ET. The fest’s promoters are asking fans who watch to donate to the Equal Justice Initiative, Food Bank of New York City and Crew Nation.

Governors Ball organizers announced in March that the 2020 edition of the New York City festival, which was set to take place earlier this month, would be canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The lineup included Vampire WeekendTame ImpalaStevie NicksPortugal. the Man, and Foals.

The Black Keys, meanwhile, were supposed to launch a North American headlining tour in July in continued support of their new album, “Let’s Rock”. That, too, has been canceled as a result of the pandemic.
