Gary Lightbody of Snow Patrol did an Instagram Live performance for fans on Thursday, and revealed that he’s got a lot of projects in the works.

Lightbody streamed his set from Los Angeles, where he’s been working on songs for a TV soundtrack that he said he’ll reveal soon. He and producer Jacknife Lee have also been working on finishing an album from Listen…Tanks?, a project that the duo started a decade ago but never completed.

Lightybody’s performance included a new song about his dad called “Born of Fire,” and he said he was going to record it soon and post it on streaming services. Lightbody did a countdown of the 10 favorite Snow Patrol songs as voted on by fans, and while he was playing number-two, “Chasing Cars,” the feed cut out because he’d reached the Instagram Live one hour limit. He restarted “Chasing Cars” and finished with “Run.” Both live sets are saved on Snow Patrol’s Instagram story.
