Sheryl Crow has decided to go on with her clothes sale this weekend in Nashville in the wake of the tornado that hit the city this week.

The sale today (Friday) and tomorrow (Saturday) of items from her closet was to benefit South Nashville Teen, but now she’s donating part of the proceeds to Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee and their efforts to help tornado victims.

She’s also asking people coming down to donate items like paper towels, toilet paper, garbage bags and cleaning gloves to Gideon’s Army Donation suggestions. The sale is from 3 to 6 today (Friday) at 2809 12th Ave South and from 10am until 6pm on Saturday, with a brief acoustic set from Crow at 2pm.
