Brandi Carlile is the 2020 Record Store Day Ambassador.

Carlile made the announcement in a video posted to the Record Store Day website where she and her long-time collaborators, Tim and Phil Hanseroth, talk about their favorite records and projects they’ve worked on the past few years.

Carlile says, “The twins and I have never made an album that we didn’t intend to be in an independent record store. Thank you so much for recognizing this love in me and the twins and giving us this opportunity. We won’t let you down.”

Previous Record Store Day ambassadors have included Pearl Jam, St. Vincent, Dave Grohl, Jack White and Iggy Pop.
