The National, Kurt Vile and Dermot Kennedy have contributed covers to a new album for Australian fire relief.

Songs for Australia is out digitally March 5th and in physical versions in June. The compilation features The National covering “Never Tear Us Apart” by INXS, Vile doing “Stranger Than Kindness” by Nick Cave, Kennedy performing Matt Corby’s “Resolution” and Damien Rice doing Sia’s “Chandelier.”

Proceeds from the album and merch bundles at SongsforAustralia.com will go to six relief organizations helping in Australia.
