Brendan Benson of The Raconteurs is revving up his solo career after a long break.

Benson’s first solo album in seven years, Dear Life, is due out April 24th. The first single and video, “Good to be Alive,” is on YouTube now.

Benson will kick off a brief North American tour on April 26th in Washington, D.C. and wrap it up on May 15th in Seattle.
