David Byrne will be the musical guest on Saturday Night Live on February 29th. John Mulaney will host. Byrne performs on Mulaney’s recent Netflix special John Mulaney and the Sack Lunch Bunch. The former Talking Heads frontman last appeared on SNL in 1989.

Byrne released his Grammy-nominated American Utopia in 2018. He’s since developed the album into a Broadway musical. And, coming up, Spike Lee will direct the film version of American Utopia.
