The first solo album from Ed O’Brien of Radiohead is due out April 17th.

It’s called Earth and he’s releasing it under the name EOB. The first single, “Shangri-La,” is out now along with a behind the scenes look at the project. Both videos are on YouTube now.

Earth features guest appearances by O’Brien’s bandmate Colin Greenwood, Adrian Utley of Portishead, Glenn Kotche of Wilco and Laura Marling. O’Brien is doing four North American shows over the next week, starting Friday in Toronto. A full North American tour will be announced soon.
