Ingrid Michaelson‘s musical adaption of The Notebook will get its debut in Chicago.

It will run at the Shakespeare Theatre from September 22nd through November 8th. Michaelson did all the songs for the production, with a book by This Is Us writer Bekah Brunstetter. The Notebook, written by Nicholas Sparks, was published in 1996 and turned into a hit film in 2004 that starred Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams.

Michaelson, who studied theater in college, made her Broadway debut in Natasha, Pierre & The Great Comet of 1812 in 2017.
