Eric Clapton will pay tribute to his late Cream and Blind Faith bandmate Ginger Baker with a tribute concert next year.
The show is set for February 17th at London’s Hammersmith Apollo, and proceeds will go to Leonard Cheshire, a charity close to the Baker family. The show description says, “The set list for the concert will look to honor Baker’s lifetime in music and will, of course, include Clapton and Baker’s work together in Cream and Blind Faith.”
The friends joining Clapton for the show will be announced soon. The only other member of Cream or Blind Faith who’s still alive is Steve Winwood.
