Debbie Harry says her memoir will be out during the second half of 2020.

The voice of Blondie says she recently finished writing Face It. She tells Rolling Stone, “I talk a bit about my internal functions — not biological but mental… It’s more personal.”

Harry says the book will cover the history of Blondie, as well as her once-romantic relationship with guitarist Chris Stein and his struggle with an autoimmune disease. “It’s an overview of the way we got through and maintained and continued and carried on through all that time from my sort of warped little perspective.”

She’s not just looking back, but forward. On Blondie’s plate for 2019 are an upcoming trip to Cuba and plans for the band’s next album, a follow-up to the 2017 release Pollinator.
