Nirvana: Manager Pens Cobain Book

With the 25th anniversary of Kurt Cobain‘s death coming in April, former Nirvana co-manager Danny Goldberg, a record executive and onetime music journalist, has written a book about the grunge icon.

In Serving the Servant: Remembering Kurt Cobain, Goldberg — who worked with the band from 1990 through Cobain’s death in April 1994 — not only taps his own memories, but shares interviews with Kurt’s family (including Courtney Love), friends and former bandmates (including Krist Novoselic). He also explores what it is about Cobain that still resonates today, even with a generation that was born after his death.

The 304-page book will be out on April 2nd.

In other Nirvana-related news, Dave Grohl will chat with Live Nation Entertainment President and CEO Michael Rapino on February 12th during this year’s Pollstar Live! conference at the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills.
