Green Day, Fall Out Boy, Weezer: Hella Mega Club Show

Green Day, Weezer and Fall Out Boy started warming up for their massive stadium tour on Tuesday night — by turning up the heat at a surprise club show in Los Angeles.

All three bands piled into the 500-capacity Whiskey-a-Go-Go for the spur-of-the-moment gig to slam through greatest hits’ sets — along with the new songs they each released yesterday. Green Day, in fact, did the new “Father of All” twice — in a row! Weezer offered some competition on the set list front with an a capella version of “Buddy Holly.”

They’ll return to that shared stage next summer when the Hella Mega Tour hits stadiums across North America.  The tour includes a date at Detroit’s Comerica Park on August 19th, 2020.
