Jim James of My Morning Jacket will release his orchestral project The Order of Nature on October 18th.

It was recorded April 7th, 2018 with conductor Teddy Abrams and The Louisville Orchestra. The album mixes new songs along with re-arrangements of tracks from James’s solo catalog. The first single from it, “Set It to Song,” is out at digital platforms now. There’s also a mini-documentary about the project on YouTube.

James and Abrams will take The Order of Nature on the road, performing at the Kennedy Center on September on September 4th and in Denver and Seattle next May.
