Josh Klinghoffer of Red Hot Chili Peppers has a new side project on the way.

Pluralone is a one-man project, as Klinghoffer plays all the instruments and does all the vocals. The first single from Pluralone is due out August 30th and features two foreign language covers — “Io Sono Quel Che Sono,” which was originally popularized by Italian singer Mina, and “Menina Mulher Da Pele Preta” by Brazilian musician Jorge Ben. Klinghoffer sings both songs in their original languages.

A full-length Pluralone album is set for the late fall.
