The B-52’s: Biggest Album Gets Reissue

The B-52s‘ biggest album is getting the deluxe treatment.

The two-CD and digital Cosmic Thing: 30th Anniversary Expanded Edition comes out on June 28th. It includes a remastered version of the 1989 album, five rare remixes from that era and 16 unreleased concert recordings recorded on the band’s 1990 tour.

Cosmic Thing, which was originally released on June 27th, 1989, sold four-million copies in the U.S. and spun off two number-three hits — “Love Shack” and “Roam” — the Top 30 single “Deadbeat Club” and the number-one Alternative single “Channel Z.”
