X Ambassadors new album is coming out June 14th — but it’s not the one you think it is.

Last year they announced that their second major label album, Joyful, would be out in the late spring and even started taking pre-orders. That time came and went, and now their upcoming album — which they swear will be out June 14th — is called Orion.

Singer Sam Harris tells Billboard, “We listened to Joyful as a whole, it didn’t feel like it fully represented where we were at. And that was the second iteration of it — the first one was just a collection of songs we had written while we were on tour.” Harris says once they teamed up with Twenty One Pilots producer Ricky Reed, they came up with the right mixture of tracks that became Orion. Harris said that the title is family-related. “My brother became a father this year and his son’s name is John James Orion Harris.”
