It appears that Morrissey will be postponing nearly two weeks of his Canadian tour that was supposed to kick off Sunday and Monday in Vancouver.

The shows have been pushed to October 14th and 15th due to what a statement on Facebook calls “a medical emergency stemming from an accident incurred while traveling in Europe.” The post went on to say that all remaining dates on Morrissey’s tour will resume as planned, commencing in Toronto on Friday, April 26th.”

Left unsaid is that Moz has dates in Calgary, Edmonton, Saskatoon and Winnipeg between Monday and April 26th. As of Sunday afternoon, the Calgary show has been moved to October 10th and the Edmonton show has been officially postponed, but with no make-up date given. No word on the other two concerts, which presumably will also be moved to a later date.
