Hozier: Number One, Baby!

Hozier‘s second album, Wasteland, Baby!, will debut at number-one on the Billboard 200 this week.

It’s the first number-one for the Irish artist, whose self-titled debut passed 2.6 million in equivalent album units in the U.S., with nearly a million of those in actual album sales, but only reached number-two. Billboard reports that Wasteland, Baby! tops this week’s chart with 89,000 equivalent album units, 75,000 of those coming in album sales.

Wasteland, Baby! is the first rock album to be number-one since Mumford and Sons‘ Delta in December. It’s the only non-soundtrack rock album in this week’s Top 10, which includes the A Star Is Born and Bohemian Rhapsody collections.
