Red Hot Chili Peppers: Headed to the Pyramids

Red Hot Chili Peppers are headed to the Great Pyramids of Egypt.

The band will play in front of one of the eight wonders of the world in Giza on March 15th. They join such acts as Sting and The Grateful Dead in doing concerts near the monuments.

In other Chili Peppers news, they had to take a break from writing their next album due to the Woolsey Fire that swept through Malibu, California last year. Drummer Chad Smith said on his SiriusXM talk show Volume West that “the house we were working in, there was no damage, it didn’t burn down, but we couldn’t get back in there.”
