Ryan Adams: Three Albums This Year?

Ryan Adams fans, get ready for a year packed with music.

Adams tweeted on Monday night, “Remember that year when I released 3 records. Let’s do it again.” He also tweeted footage of himself in the studio recording backing vocals with some singers, and revealed the title of the first album, Big Colors. He added that it was sounding “epic.”

A few hours later, he tweeted the album’s cover art. Adams didn’t share a release date for Big Colors. The last time Adams released three albums in one year was 2005, when he put out Cold Roses and Jacksonville City Nights with The Cardinals and the solo effort 29. His most recent album was 2017’s Prisoner.
