Dido isn’t exactly a road warrior, but she has finally decided to come out and play, She will do her first real run of shows in a decade-and-a-half.

The ethereal singer will release a new studio album called Still on My Mind on March 8th. It’s been six years since her last album, but a full 15 since she toured. She tells Billboard the choice to come back came naturally.

She says, “I spent a lot of time saying no to that question [of touring]. But as an artist and a songwriter, you start really missing being right in front of the people who listen to your music. It makes you a better writer and artist to actually engage with the people who listen to your music — it’s all fundamental.”

The North American leg of Dido’s tour kicks off in Chicago on June 13th and wraps in Seattle on June 30th.
