Pearl Jam: Break Out Covers at Seattle Show

Pearl Jam broke out a ton of covers at their show at Safeco Field in Seattle Wednesday night.

Their main set featured “Throw Your Hatred Down” by Neil Young (which they recorded with Young in 1995), a snippet of “Help” by The Beatles leading into their own “Help Help” (from 2002’s Riot Act) and “I Am a Patriot” by Steve Van Zandt.

Eddie Vedder came out by himself at the start of the encore and dedicated a cover of “We’re Going to Be Friends” by The White Stripes to the band’s families and his friend Jack White.
