Jason Isbell is using his time off the road to keep working.

Isbell and the 400 Unit are on a break as Isbell’s wife and 400 Unit member Amanda Shires headlines her own tour behind her new album, To the Sunset. Isbell tweeted on Wednesday that he’s “producing an album that’s gonna be incredible. Maybe I’ll tell y’all who it is later today.”

Before Isbell could name the artist, Josh Ritter tweeted Wednesday night that he’s “working on my new record with Jason Isbell in Nashville.” Isbell followed that up by writing, “Yes yes, it’s going to be so good.”

Isbell and the 400 Unit are back on the road August 24th in Austin, Texas.
