The Latest On Dolores O’Riordan

London police say the death of Cranberries singer Dolores O’Riordan on Monday at her hotel is not being treated as suspicious.

The BBC reports that police are compiling a report to give to the coroner’s office to investigate the cause of O’Riordan’s death. And we now know what recording session brought her to London. She was set to add vocals to a cover of “Zombie” by Bad Wolves, the new band from Tommy Vext of Divine Heresy.  Bad Wolves posted a note on their Facebook page that says, “When we heard she liked our version and wanted to sing on it, it was the greatest compliment a new band, or any band for that matter, could have received. Our hearts are broken that we were not able to see this collaboration through and our deepest condolences go out to her family, friends, loved ones and fans in Ireland and around the globe. We hope we can still make her proud by sharing our version of ‘Zombie’ with the world.”
