U2 received the Global Icon award at the MTV European Music Awards Saturday night in London during a special outdoor performance in Trafalgar Square. The actual awards show was last night at London’s SEE Arena.
The band performed “Get Out of Your Own Way,” off its new album, Songs of Experience, for the show, but also did seven other songs. The complete set list, in order, was:
